FOUR DOGS AND A WALK.....

A comment on yesterday's post prompted THIS post.

A reader wondered if I walked all of the dogs at the same time....in fact, she had "visions" of what it would be like...

All visions barred...here is a taste of REALITY!

You met all of our dogs in yesterday's post.....

We have

KATE, the Boykin spaniel,

HARRY, the Peek-a-Shu,

MAGGIE, the "drop-off",

and BUD, the son of Maggie...

(SAPP, the granddog, was not visiting at the time of this walk)

We begin at the side porch...

There are several variations of the same route, but the basic route includes around the house, down the path through the woods,

around the pond, and up the driveway, around the house, and down again....

3 times makes for a brisk 20 - 25 minute walk...

It would be IMPOSSIBLE to truly document a "Walk with the Dogs",

but here are a few photos of the walk we took yesterday evening..........

THE FUN BEGINS!

At the pond....This will be the last time you will see Maggie, but she is definitely with us. Something about my camera makes her shy away.....?

Awww, Bud, leave Kate alone!

Bud turns to look when I yell for him to stop...

Good Boy, Bud!

He comes when I call!

Such a good boy!

And Kate gets the stick!

Dirty Harry says, "Enough of this! Let's get this 'show on the road'!"

He's waiting.....

Bud is waiting....

Oops! Their attention is diverted....

O.K., Dirty Harry, I'm coming! You are so impatient!

All together again for the final lap...

Like any younger sibling, Bud is always watching his older brother & sister, and, of course, they ignore him......Poor Bud, he HAS to pester them so they will acknowledge his presence:(

Could it be a big fish?

HOME AGAIN!
